Ephesians 1:4

4For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love

4just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love

4just as [in His love] He chose us in Christ [actually selected us for Himself as His own] before the foundation of the world, so that we would be holy [that is, consecrated, set apart for Him, purpose-driven] and blameless in His sight. In love

4For He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless in His presence. In love

4even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blemish before him in love:

4As hee hath chosen vs in him, before the foundation of the worlde, that we should be holy, and without blame before him in loue:

4even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and without defect before him in love,

4God chose us to belong to Christ before the world was created. He chose us to be holy and without blame in his eyes. He loved us.

4Before God made the world, he chose us to be his people because of Christ. He chose us so that we would please him. Because we belong to Christ, God accepts us as completely good. This shows how much he loves us.

4according as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, for our being holy and unblemished before Him, in love,
