Ephesians 4:22

22You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires;

22that, in reference to your former way of life, you are to rid yourselves of the old 4:22 Lit personself, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit,

22that, in reference to your former manner of life, you lay aside the old self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit,

22that, regarding your previous way of life, you put off your old self [completely discard your former nature], which is being corrupted through deceitful desires,

22to put off your former way of life, your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires;

22You were taught not to live the way you used to. You must get rid of your old way of life. That’s because it has been made impure by the desire for things that lead you astray.
