Esther 2:23

23And when the report was investigated and found to be true, the two officials were impaled on poles. All this was recorded in the book of the annals in the presence of the king.

23Some people checked Esther’s report. And they found out it was true. So the two officials were put to death. Then poles were stuck through them. They were set up where people could see them. All of that was written in the official records. It was written down while the king was watching.

23The king sent his men to see if it was true. He discovered that Mordecai had told the truth. So he said that the two eunuchs must die. The king's officers hanged them from a wooden toweruntil they were dead. They wrote about this event in the history book, while the king watched.
