Exodus 17:16

16He said, “Because hands were lifted up against the throne of the Lord, the Lordwill be at war against the Amalekites from generation to generation.”

16and he said, “Because the Lord has sworn, the Lordwill have war against Amalek from generation to generation.”

16saying, “The Lord has sworn [an oath]; the Lordwill have war against [the people of] Amalek from generation to generation.”

16“Indeed,” he said, “a hand was lifted up toward the throne of the Lord. The Lordwill war against Amalek from generation to generation.”

16and he said, Jehovah hath sworn: Jehovah will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.

16Also he said, The Lord hath sworne, that he will haue warre with Amalek from generation to generation.

16He said, “Yah has sworn: ‘Yahweh will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.’”

16He said, “The Amalekites opposed the authority of the Lord. So the Lordwill fight against the Amalekites for all time to come.”

16Moses said, ‘Take hold of the Lord's flag! The Lordwill always continue to fight against the Amalekites.’

16and says, “Because a hand [is] on the throne of YAH, war [is] to YHWH with Amalek from generation [to] generation.”
