Exodus 29:9

“Then you shall ordain Aaron and his sons.

9And you shall wrap their waists with sashes, Aaron and his sons, and fit 29:9 Lit headgearcaps on them, and they shall have the priesthood by a permanent statute. So you shall 29:9 Lit fill the hand ofordain Aaron and his sons.

9You shall gird them with sashes, Aaron and his sons, and bind caps on them, and they shall have the priesthood by a perpetual statute. So you shall ordain Aaron and his sons.

9And you shall wrap them with sashes, Aaron and his sons, and put the [ornamental] caps on them; and the priest’s office shall be theirs by a perpetual statute. So you shall ordain Aaron and his sons.

9Wrap the sashes around Aaron and his sons and tie headbands on them. The priesthood shall be theirs by a permanent statute. In this way you are to ordain Aaron and his sons.

9Put caps on their heads. Tie belts on Aaron and his sons. The work of the priests belongs to them. This is my law that will last for all time to come.

“Then you must prepare Aaron and his sons to serve me.
