Exodus 30:33

33Whoever makes perfume like it and puts it on anyone other than a priest must be cut off from their people.’ ”

33Whoever mixes any like it or whoever puts any of it on a layman shall be cut off from his people.’ ”

33Whoever prepares any like it or puts any of it on a layman shall be cut off from his people [excluding him from the atonement made for them].’ ”

33Anyone who mixes perfume like it or puts it on an outsider shall be cut off from his people.’”

33Whosoever compoundeth any like it, or whosoever putteth any of it upon a stranger, he shall be cut off from his people.

33Whosoeuer shall make the like oyntment, or whosoeuer shall put any of it vpon a stranger, euen he shalbe cut off from his people.

33Whoever compounds any like it, or whoever puts any of it on a stranger, he shall be cut off from his people.’”

33Suppose a person makes perfume in the same way. And suppose that person puts it on someone who is not a priest. Then that person must be separated from their people.’ ”

33Nobody must make a perfume that has a sweet smell like this oil. Nobody must put this oil on any person who is not a priest. Anyone who does not obey this rule will no longer belong to my people.” ’

33a man who compounds [any] like it, or who puts of it on a stranger, has even been cut off from his people.”
