Exodus 4:18

18Then Moses went back to Jethro his father-in-law and said to him, “Let me return to my own people in Egypt to see if any of them are still alive.”

Jethro said, “Go, and I wish you well.”

18Then Moses departed and returned to his father-in-law 4:18 Heb JetherJethro, and said to him, “Please, let me go, that I may return to my brothers who are in Egypt, and see if they are still alive.” And Jethro said to Moses, “Go in peace.”

18Then Moses departed and returned to Jethro his father-in-law and said to him, “Please, let me go, that I may return to my brethren who are in Egypt, and see if they are still alive.” And Jethro said to Moses, “Go in peace.”

18Then Moses went away and returned to Jethro his father-in-law, and said to him, “Please, let me go back so that I may return to my 4:18 Lit brethren.relatives in Egypt, and see if they are still alive.” And Jethro said to Moses, “Go in peace.”

18Then Moses went back to his father-in-law Jethro4:18 Moses’ father-in-law Jethro was also called Reuel; see Exodus 2:18. and said to him, “Please let me return to my brothers in Egypt to see if they are still alive.”

“Go in peace,” Jethro replied.

18Then Moses went back to his father-in-law Jethro. He said to him, “Let me return to my own people in Egypt. I want to see if any of them are still alive.”

Jethro said, “Go. I hope everything goes well with you.”
