Ezekiel 36:7

7Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I swear with uplifted hand that the nations around you will also suffer scorn.

7Therefore the Lord God says this: ‘I have 36:7 Lit lifted up My handsworn that the nations that are around you will certainly endure their insults themselves.

7Therefore thus says the Lord God, ‘I have sworn that surely the nations which are around you will themselves endure their insults.

7Therefore thus says the Lord God, ‘I have lifted up My hand and sworn [an oath] that the nations that are around you will themselves endure their [shameful] insults.

7Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: I have sworn with an uplifted hand that surely the nations around you will endure reproach of their own.

7So the Lord and King says, “I raise my hand and make a promise. I promise that the nations around you will also be laughed at.
