Galatians 3:20

20A mediator, however, implies more than one party; but God is one.

20Now a mediator is not for one party only; but God is only one.

20Now the mediator or go-between [in a transaction] is not [needed] for just one party; whereas God is only one [and was the only One giving the promise to Abraham, but the Law was a contract between two, God and Israel; its validity depended on both].

20A go-between means that there is more than one side to an agreement. But God didn’t use a go-between when he made his promise to Abraham.

20But God himself gave his promise to Abraham. It was not necessary to have somebody between them, like Moses.

20and the mediator is not of one, but God is one.
