Galatians 4:17

17Those people are zealous to win you over, but for no good. What they want is to alienate you from us, so that you may have zeal for them.

17They eagerly seek you, not in a commendable way, but they want to shut you out so that you will seek them.

17These men [the Judaizers] eagerly seek you [to entrap you with honeyed words and attention, to win you over to their philosophy], not honorably [for their purpose is not honorable or worthy of consideration]. They want to isolate you [from us who oppose them] so that you will seek them.

17Those people are zealous for you, but not in a good way. Instead, they want to isolate you from us, so that you may be zealous for them.

17They zealously seek you in no good way; nay, they desire to shut you out, that ye may seek them.

17They are ielous ouer you amisse: yea, they woulde exclude you, that ye shoulde altogether loue them.

17Those people are trying hard to win you over. But it is not for your good. They want to take you away from us. They want you to commit yourselves to them.

17Those false teachers try very much to please you. But they do not really want what is good for you. They want to keep you for themselves. Then you will only want to listen to them.

17They are zealous for you—[yet] not well, but they wish to shut us out, that you may be zealous for them;
