Galatians 4:5

5to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship.

5so that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons and daughters.

5so that He might redeem and liberate those who were under the Law, that we [who believe] might be adopted as sons [as God’s children with all rights as fully grown members of a family]. [Rom 11:17-24]

5to redeem those under the law, that we might receive our adoption as sons.

5that he might redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

5That hee might redeeme them which were vnder the Law, that we might receiue the adoption of the sonnes.

5that he might redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as children.

5He came to set free those who were under the authority of the law. He wanted us to be adopted as children with all the rights children have.

5In this way, he made us free from the authority of the Law. Before that, we were like slaves under the Law. But God's Son paid our debt, so that God would accept us as his own children.
