Genesis 22:14

14So Abraham called that place The Lord Will Provide. And to this day it is said, “On the mountain of the Lord it will be provided.”

14And Abraham named that place 22:14 Heb YHWH-jireh; lit the Lord will seeThe Lord Will Provide, as it is said to this day, “On the mountain of the Lord it will 22:14 Lit be seenbe provided.”

14Abraham called the name of that place The Lord Will Provide, as it is said to this day, “In the mount of the Lord it will be provided.”

14So Abraham named that place 22:14 Heb YHWH jireh. Lit the Lord will see (in the sense of “see to it”).The Lord Will Provide. And it is said to this day, “On the mountain of the Lord it 22:14 This is a prophetic statement which looks ahead to the fact that the Messiah, the Son of God, would be the ultimate sacrifice, chosen and provided by the Father.will be seen and provided.”

14And Abraham called that place The Lord Will Provide.22:14 Hebrew YHWH Yireh So to this day it is said, “On the mountain of the Lord it will be provided.”

14So Abraham named that place The Lord Will Provide. To this day people say, “It will be provided on the mountain of the Lord.”
