Genesis 29:35

35She conceived again, and when she gave birth to a son she said, “This time I will praise the Lord.” So she named him Judah.29:35 Judah sounds like and may be derived from the Hebrew for praise. Then she stopped having children.

35And she conceived again and gave birth to a son, and said, “This time I will 29:35 Heb Jadah, related to Judahpraise the Lord.” Therefore she named him 29:35 Heb JehudahJudah. Then she stopped having children.

35And she conceived again and bore a son and said, “This time I will praise the Lord.” Therefore she named him Judah. Then she stopped bearing.

35Again she conceived and gave birth to a [fourth] son, and she said, “Now I will praise the Lord.” So she named him 29:35 Possibly an abbreviation of “Praise YHWH.”Judah; then [for a time] she stopped bearing [children].

35And once more she conceived and gave birth to a son and said, “This time I will praise the Lord.” So she named him Judah.29:35 Judah sounds like the Hebrew for praise. Then Leah stopped having children.

35She became pregnant again. She had a son. Then she said, “This time I’ll praise the Lord.” So she named him Judah. Then she stopped having children.
