Genesis 30:6

6Then Rachel said, “God has vindicated me; he has listened to my plea and given me a son.” Because of this she named him Dan.30:6 Dan here means he has vindicated.

6Then Rachel said, “God has 30:6 Lit judgedvindicated me, and has indeed heard my voice and has given me a son.” Therefore she named him 30:6 I.e., He judgedDan.

6Then Rachel said, “God has judged and vindicated me, and has heard my plea and has given me a son [through my maid].” So she named him Dan (He judged).

6Then Rachel said, “God has vindicated me; He has heard my plea and given me a son.” So she named him Dan.30:6 Dan means He has judged or He has vindicated.

6Then Rachel said, “God has stood up for my rights. He has listened to my prayer and given me a son.” So she named him Dan.
