Genesis 47:9

9And Jacob said to Pharaoh, “The years of my pilgrimage are a hundred and thirty. My years have been few and difficult, and they do not equal the years of the pilgrimage of my fathers.”

9So Jacob said to Pharaoh, “The 47:9 Lit days of the yearsyears of my living abroad are 47:9 Lit 130 years130; few and 47:9 Lit evilunpleasant have been the 47:9 Lit days of the yearsyears of my life, nor have they 47:9 Lit reachedattained the 47:9 Lit days of the yearsyears 47:9 Lit of the life of my fathersthat my fathers lived during the days of their living abroad.”

9So Jacob said to Pharaoh, “The years of my sojourning are one hundred and thirty; few and unpleasant have been the years of my life, nor have they attained the years that my fathers lived during the days of their sojourning.”

9Jacob said to Pharaoh, “The 47:9 Lit the days of the years of.years of my pilgrimage are a hundred and thirty. Few and unpleasant have been the years of my life, and they have 47:9 Abraham, Jacob’s grandfather, had lived to be a hundred and seventy-five years old; Isaac, Jacob’s father, lived to be a hundred and eighty. Jacob lived seventeen years after making this statement to Pharaoh, in which time he had an opportunity to get a much more optimistic view of God’s treatment of him. He died at a hundred and forty-seven, having said, “The Angel…has redeemed me continually from all evil” (Gen 48:16).not reached the years that my fathers lived during the days of their pilgrimage.”

9“My travels47:9 Hebrew sojourns; twice in this verse have lasted 130 years,” Jacob replied. “My years have been few and hard, and they have not matched the years of the travels of my fathers.”

9Jacob said to Pharaoh, “The years of my journey through life are 130. My years have been few and hard. They aren’t as many as the years of my father and grandfather before me.”
