Hebrews 13:12

12And so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate to make the people holy through his own blood.

12Therefore Jesus also suffered outside the gate, that He might sanctify the people through His own blood.

12Therefore Jesus also suffered and died outside the [city] gate so that He might sanctify and set apart for God as holy the people [who believe] through [the shedding of] His own blood.

12Jesus also suffered outside the city gate. He suffered to make the people holy by spilling his own blood.

12In the same way, Jesus also died outside the city. He died as a sacrifice on our behalf. His blood has made his people clean from their sins.

12For this reason, also Jesus—that He might sanctify the people through [His] own blood—suffered outside the gate;
