Hebrews 2:1

1We must pay the most careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away.

1For this reason we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away from it.

1 For this reason [that is, because of God’s final revelation in His Son Jesus and because of Jesus’ superiority to the angels] we must pay much closer attention than ever to the things that we have heard, so that we do not [in any way] drift away from truth.

1Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things that were heard, lest haply we drift away from them.

1So we must be very careful. We must continue to remember the message that we have heard about God's Son. Then we will not go in the wrong direction, and turn away from God.

1Because of this it is more abundantly necessary to take heed to the things heard, lest we may drift away,
