Hebrews 4:16

16Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

16Therefore let us [with privilege] approach the throne of grace [that is, the throne of God’s gracious favor] with confidence andwithout fear, so that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find [His amazing] grace to help in time of need [an appropriate blessing, coming just at the right moment].

16So we should come near to God and we should not be afraid. God is our King. We can ask him to help us when we need help. We know that he will forgiveus and he will be kind to us in whatever way we need.

16we may come near, then, with freedom, to the throne of grace, that we may receive kindness, and find grace—for seasonable help.
