Hebrews 7:26

26Such a high priest truly meets our need—one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners, exalted above the heavens.

26For it was fitting for us to have such a high priest, holy, innocent, undefiled, separated from sinners, and exalted above the heavens;

26It was fitting for us to have such a High Priest [perfectly adapted to our needs], holy, blameless, unstained [by sin], separated from sinners and exalted higher than the heavens;

26Such a high priest truly befits us — One who is holy, innocent, undefiled, set apart from sinners, and exalted above the heavens.

26For such a high priest became us, holy, guileless, undefiled, separated from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

26For such an hie Priest it became vs to haue, which is holy, harmelesse, vndefiled, separate from sinners, and made hier then the heauens:

26For such a high priest was fitting for us: holy, guiltless, undefiled, separated from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

26A high priest like that really meets our need. He is holy, pure and without blame. He isn’t like other people. He does not sin. He is lifted high above the heavens.

26Jesus is the kind of great priest that we need. He completely belongs to God. He has never done anything wrong. He is completely good and clean. He is separate from everyone who does wrong things. God has raised him up to the most important place in heaven.

26For also such a Chief Priest was fitting for us—holy, innocent, undefiled, separate from the sinners, and having become higher than the heavens,
