11“Though Ephraim built many altars for sin offerings,

these have become altars for sinning.

11¶Since Ephraim has multiplied altars for sin,

They have become altars of sinning for him.

11¶For Ephraim has constructed many altars for sin;

They are altars intended for sinning [which multiply his guilt].

11Though Ephraim multiplied the altars for sin,

they became his altars for sinning.

11Because Ephraim hath multiplied altars for sinning, altars have been unto him for sinning.

11Because Ephraim hath made many altars to sinne, his altars shalbe to sinne.

11Because Ephraim has multiplied altars for sinning,

they became for him altars for sinning.

11“Ephraim built many altars where they sacrificed

sin offerings to other gods.

So their altars have become

places where they commit sin.

11Ephraim's people have built many altars to make sin offerings.

But the altars have become places where the people do even more sins!
