20The ruthless will vanish,

the mockers will disappear,

and all who have an eye for evil will be cut down—

20For the ruthless will come to an end and the scorner will be finished,

Indeed all who are intent on doing evil will be eliminated,

20For the tyrant will come to an end and the scorner will be finished,

Indeed all who are intent on doing evil will be cut off—

20For the ruthless will vanish,

the mockers will disappear,

and all who look for evil

will be cut down—

20For the terrible one is brought to nought, and the scoffer ceaseth, and all they that watch for iniquity are cut off;

20For the cruel man shall cease, and the scornefull shalbe consumed: and all that hasted to iniquitie, shalbe cut off:

20For the ruthless is brought to nothing, and the scoffer ceases, and all those who are alert to do evil are cut off—

20Those who don’t show any pity will vanish.

Those who make fun of others will disappear.

All those who look for ways to do what is evil will be cut off.

20 Cruel people will disappear. Proud people who insult others will no longer be there. There will be no more people who love to do evil things.
