9For these are rebellious people, deceitful children,

children unwilling to listen to the Lord’s instruction.

9For this is a rebellious people, false sons,

Sons who refuse to listen

To the instruction of the Lord;

9For this is a rebellious people, lying sons,

Sons who refuse to listen to

The law and instruction of the Lord;

9These are rebellious people, deceitful children,

children unwilling to obey the Lord’s instruction.

9For it is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of Jehovah;

9That it is a rebellious people, lying children, and children that would not heare the law of the Lord.

9For it is a rebellious people, lying children, children who will not hear Yahweh’s law;

9That’s because these people of Judah refuse to obey me.

They are children who tell lies.

They will not listen to what I want to teach them.

9These people have turned against the Lord. They are his children but they love to tell lies. They do not want to obey his Law.

9That this [is] a people of rebellion, sons—liars, || Sons not willing to hear the Law of YHWH.
