James 2:1

1My brothers and sisters, believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ must not show favoritism.

1My brothers and sisters, do not hold your faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ with an attitude of personal favoritism.

1My fellow believers, do not practice your faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ with an attitude of partiality [toward people—show no favoritism, no prejudice, no snobbery].

1My brothers, as you hold out your faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ, do not show favoritism.

1My brethren, hold not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons.

1My brethren, haue not the faith of our glorious Lord Iesus Christ in respect of persons.

1My brothers, don’t hold the faith of our glorious Lord Jesus Christ with partiality.

1My brothers and sisters, you are believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ. So treat everyone the same.

1My Christian friends, you must be kind to everyone. You trust the Lord Jesus Christ, who is great in heaven. So do not think that anyone is more valuable than any other person.

1My brothers, do not hold the faith of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ in favor by appearance,
