James 2:8

8If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, “Love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing right.

8If, however, you are fulfilling the royal law according to the Scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing well.

8If, however, you are [really] fulfilling the royal law according to the Scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself [that is, if you have an unselfish concern for others and do things for their benefit]” you are doing well. [Lev 19:18]

8If you really fulfill the royal law stated in Scripture, “Love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing well.

8Howbeit if ye fulfil the royal law, according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself, ye do well:

8But if yee fulfill the royall Lawe according to the Scripture, which saith, Thou shalt loue thy neighbour as thy selfe, yee doe well.

8However, if you fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you do well.

8The royal law is found in Scripture. It says, “Love your neighbor as you love yourself.” (Leviticus 19:18) If you really keep this law, you are doing what is right.

8But the message of God's kingdom is this: ‘Love other people as much as you love yourself.’ That is what the Bible says. If you really do that, you do well.

8If, indeed, you fulfill royal law, according to the Writing: “You will love your neighbor as yourself,” you do well;
