James 4:16

16As it is, you boast in your arrogant schemes. All such boasting is evil.

16But as it is, you boast in your arrogance; all such boasting is evil.

16But as it is, you boast [vainly] in your pretension and arrogance. All such boasting is evil.

16As it is, you boast in your proud intentions. All such boasting is evil.

16But now ye glory in your vauntings: all such glorying is evil.

16But now ye reioyce in your boastings: all such reioycing is euill.

16But now you glory in your boasting. All such boasting is evil.

16As it is, you brag. You brag about the evil plans your pride produces. This kind of bragging is evil.

16But instead, you talk about what you have decided to do. You speak as if you have the power to make it happen. It is wrong to boast like that.

16but now you glory in your pride; all such glorying is evil;
