Jeremiah 16:6

6“Both high and low will die in this land. They will not be buried or mourned, and no one will cut themselves or shave their head for the dead.

6Both great people and small will die in this land; they will not be buried, people will not mourn for them, nor will anyone make cuts on himself or have his head shaved for them.

6Both great men and small will die in this land; they will not be buried, they will not be lamented, nor will anyone gash himself or shave his head for them.

6Both great men and small will die in this land; they will not be buried, nor will they be lamented (mourned over with expressions of grief in death), nor will anyone cut himself or shave his head for them [in mourning].

6“Both great and small will die in this land. They will not be buried or mourned, nor will anyone cut himself or shave his head for them.

6“Important and unimportant people alike will die in this land. Their bodies will not be buried. No one will mourn for them. No one will cut themselves or shave their head for the dead.
