24“As I live,” says the Lord, “though 22:24 Also known as Jeconiah and Jehoiachin.Coniah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah were the signet [ring] on My right hand, yet would I pull you (Coniah) off.
24“As surely as I live,” declares the Lord, “evenif you, Coniah22:24 Coniah is a variant of Jehoiachin; also in verse 28. son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, were a signet ring on My right hand, I would pull you off.
24“King Jehoiachin, you are the son of Jehoiakim,” announces the Lord. “Suppose you were a ring on my right hand. And suppose the ring even had my royal mark on it. Then I would still pull you off my finger. And that is just as sure as I am alive.
