5“This is what the Lord says:

“ ‘Cries of fear are heard—

terror, not peace.

5“For this is what the Lord says:

‘I have heard a sound of terror,

Of fear, and there is no peace.

5“Thus says the Lord,

‘We have heard a terrified voice

Of panic and dread, and there is no peace.

5Yes, this is what the Lord says:

“A cry of panic is heard —

a cry of terror, not of peace.

5For thus saith Jehovah: We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace.

5For thus saith the Lord, wee haue heard a terrible voyce, of feare and not of peace.

5For Yahweh says:

“We have heard a voice of trembling;

a voice of fear, and not of peace.

5“I am the Lord. I say,

“ ‘Cries of fear are heard.

There is terror. There isn’t any peace.

5The Lord said,

‘People are shouting because they are afraid!

Listen to them!

There is no peace anywhere.
