Jeremiah 38:5

5“He is in your hands,” King Zedekiah answered. “The king can do nothing to oppose you.”

5And King Zedekiah said, “Behold, he is in your 38:5 Lit handhands; for the king can do nothing against you.”

5So King Zedekiah said, “Behold, he is in your hands; for the king can do nothing against you.”

5Then King Zedekiah [fearing the princes] said, “Listen, he is in your hand; for the king is in no position to do anything against you.”

5“Here he is,” replied King Zedekiah. “He is in your hands, since the king can do nothing to stop you.”

5“He’s in your hands,” King Zedekiah answered. “I can’t do anything to oppose you.”
