30I know her insolence but it is futile,”

declares the Lord,

“and her boasts accomplish nothing.

30“I know his fury,” declares the Lord,

“But it is futile;

His idle boasts have accomplished nothing.

30“I know his [insolent] wrath,” says the Lord,

“But it is futile;

His idle boasts [in his deeds] have accomplished nothing.

30I know his insolence,”

declares the Lord,

“but it is futile.

His boasting is as empty as his deeds.

30I know his wrath, saith Jehovah, that it is nought; his boastings have wrought nothing.

30I know his wrath, saith ye Lord, but it shall not be so: and his dissimulatios, for they do not right.

30I know his wrath,” says Yahweh, “that it is nothing;

his boastings have done nothing.

30I know how rude they are.

But it will not get them anywhere,” announces the Lord.

“Their bragging does not accomplish anything.

30The Lord says,

‘I know about Moab's proud thoughts.

But their pride is false.

Whatever they do, it will be useless.

30I have known, a declaration of YHWH, || His wrath, and [it is] not right, || His boastings—they have done nothing right.
