Jeremiah 7:19

19But am I the one they are provoking? declares the Lord. Are they not rather harming themselves, to their own shame?

19Are they provoking Me?” declares the Lord. “Is it not themselves instead, to their 7:19 Lit their faces’own shame?”

19Do they spite Me?” declares the Lord. “Is it not themselves they spite, to their own shame?”

19Do they offend and provoke Me to anger?” says the Lord. “Is it not themselves [they offend], to their own shame?”

19But am I the One they are provoking? declares the Lord. Is it not themselves they spite, to their own shame?

19But am I the one they are hurting?” announces the Lord. “Aren’t they only harming themselves? They should be ashamed of it.”
