4When your children sinned against him,

he gave them over to the penalty of their sin.

4“If your sons sinned against Him,

Then He turned them over to the power of their wrongdoing.

4“If your children have sinned against Him,

Then He has handed them over to the power of their transgression and punished them.

4When your children sinned against Him,

He gave them over to their rebellion.

4If thy children have sinned against him,

And he hath delivered them into the hand of their transgression;

4If thy sonnes haue sinned against him, and he hath sent them into the place of their iniquitie,
