John 18:9

9This happened so that the words he had spoken would be fulfilled: “I have not lost one of those you gave me.”

9This took place so that the word which He spoke would be fulfilled: “Of those whom You have given Me I lost not one.”

9This was to fulfill and verify the words He had spoken, “Of those whom You have given Me, I have not lost even one.” [John 6:39; 17:12]

9Jesus said this because earlier he had said, ‘I have lost none of those people that you gave to me.’ This made what he had spoken earlier really happen.

9that the word might be fulfilled that He said, “Those whom You have given to Me, I did not lose even one of them.”
