John 7:40

40On hearing his words, some of the people said, “Surely this man is the Prophet.”

40 Some of the people therefore, after they heard these words, were saying, “This truly is the Prophet.”

40 Some of the people therefore, when they heard these words, were saying, “This certainly is the Prophet.”

40Listening to these words, some of the people said, “This is certainly the Prophet!” [Deut 18:15, 18; John 1:21; 6:14; Acts 3:22]

40On hearing these words, some of the people said, “This is truly the Prophet.”

40The people heard his words. Some of them said, “This man must be the Prophet we’ve been expecting.”
