John 7:51

51“Does our law condemn a man without first hearing him to find out what he has been doing?”

51“Our Law does not judge the person unless it first hears from him and knows what he is doing, does it?”

51“Does our Law convict someone without first giving him a hearing and finding out what he is [accused of] doing?”

51“Does our law convict a man without first hearing from him to determine what he has done?”

51Doth our law judge a man, except it first hear from himself and know what he doeth?

51Doth our Law iudge a man before it heare him, and knowe what he hath done?

51“Does our law judge a man unless it first hears from him personally and knows what he does?”

51“Does our law find a man guilty without hearing him first? Doesn’t it want to find out what he is doing?”

51‘We must find out first what this man has done. Then we can decide if it is right to punish him. Our law says that we must listen to him first.’

51“Does our law judge the Man, if it may not hear from Him first, and know what He does?”
