Jonah 1:5

5All the sailors were afraid and each cried out to his own god. And they threw the cargo into the sea to lighten the ship.

But Jonah had gone below deck, where he lay down and fell into a deep sleep.

5Then the sailors became afraid and every man cried out to his 1:5 Or godsgod, and they hurled the 1:5 Lit vesselscargo which was in the ship into the sea to lighten it 1:5 Lit from upon themfor them. But Jonah had gone below into the stern of the ship, had lain down, and fallen sound asleep.
