Jonah 1:7

7Then the sailors said to each other, “Come, let us cast lots to find out who is responsible for this calamity.” They cast lots and the lot fell on Jonah.

In this case, it is possible that God intervened to identify Jonah as the guilty party.let us cast lots, so we may learn who is to blame for this disaster.” So they cast lots and the lot fell on Jonah.

7“Come!” said the sailors to one another. “Let us cast lots to find out who is responsible for this calamity that is upon us.”

So they cast lots, and the lot fell on Jonah.

7Here is what the sailors said to one another. “Someone is to blame for getting us into all this trouble. Come. Let’s cast lots to find out who it is.” So they did. And Jonah was picked.
