Jonah 3:10

10When God saw what they did and how they turned from their evil ways, he relented and did not bring on them the destruction he had threatened.

10When God saw their deeds, that they turned from their evil way, then God relented of the disaster which He had declared He would 3:10 Lit do tobring on them. So He did not do it.

10When God saw their actions— that they had turned from their evil ways— He relented from the disaster He had threatened to bring upon them.

10God saw what they did. He saw that they stopped doing what was evil. So he took pity on them. He didn’t destroy them as he had said he would.
