Joshua 10:28

28That day Joshua took Makkedah. He put the city and its king to the sword and totally destroyed everyone in it. He left no survivors. And he did to the king of Makkedah as he had done to the king of Jericho.

28Now Joshua captured Makkedah on that day, and struck it and its king with the edge of the sword; he 10:28 Lit put under the banutterly destroyed 10:28 Some mss themit and every 10:28 Lit soul, and so throughout the chperson who was in it. He left no survivor. So he did to the king of Makkedah just as he had done to the king of Jericho.

28That day Joshua captured Makkedah. He cut down its people and their king. He totally destroyed everyone in it. He didn’t leave anyone alive. He did to the king of Makkedah the same thing he had done to the king of Jericho.
