Joshua 11:13

13Yet Israel did not burn any of the cities built on their mounds—except Hazor, which Joshua burned.

13However, Israel did not burn any cities that stood on their mounds, except Hazor alone, which Joshua burned.

13But Israel did not burn any of the cities that stood [walled and fortified] on their mounds, except Hazor alone, which Joshua burned.

13Yet Israel did not burn any of the cities built on their mounds, except Hazor, which Joshua burned.

13But as for the cities that stood on their mounds, Israel burned none of them, save Hazor only; that did Joshua burn.

13Many cities were built on top of earlier cities that had been destroyed. Israel didn’t burn any of those except Hazor. Joshua burned it down.

13But the Israelites did not burn the cities that were built on small hills. Hazor was the only city like that which Joshua did burn.

13Only, all the cities which are standing by their hill, Israel has not burned them—except Joshua has burned Hazor, only;
