Joshua 24:16

16Then the people answered, “Far be it from us to forsake the Lord to serve other gods!

16The people answered, “Far be it from us that we should forsake Yahweh, to serve other gods;

16Then the people answered Joshua, “We would never desert the Lord! We would never serve other gods!

16The people answered Joshua, ‘We would never turn against the Lord to serve other gods!

16And the people answer and say, “Far be it from us to forsake YHWH, to serve other gods;
