Judges 3:24

24After he had gone, the servants came and found the doors of the upper room locked. They said, “He must be relieving himself in the inner room of the palace.”

24When he had left, 3:24 Lit histhe king’s servants came and looked, and behold, the doors of the roof chamber were locked; and they said, “Undoubtedly he is 3:24 Lit covering his feet; a euphemism referring to a squatting positionrelieving himself in the cool room.”

24When he had gone out, his servants came and looked, and behold, the doors of the roof chamber were locked; and they said, “He is only relieving himself in the cool room.”

24When Ehud departed, Eglon’s servants came. And when they saw that the doors of the upper room were locked, they said, “He is only 3:24 Lit covering his feet (with his garment)—a euphemism for defecating, probably because of the squatting position taken.relieving himself in the cool room.”
