Leviticus 12:7

7He shall offer them before the Lord to make atonement for her, and then she will be ceremonially clean from her flow of blood.

“ ‘These are the regulations for the woman who gives birth to a boy or a girl.

7Then he shall offer it before the Lord and make atonement for her, and she shall be cleansed from the 12:7 Lit fountainflow of her blood. This is the law for her who gives birth to a child, whether a male or a female.

7The priest must offer them to the Lord. They will pay for her sin. Then she will be “clean” from her bleeding.
