Leviticus 25:53

53They are to be treated as workers hired from year to year; you must see to it that those to whom they owe service do not rule over them ruthlessly.

53He shall be with him like a worker hired year by year; he shall not rule over him with 25:53 Or violenceseverity in your sight.

53Like a man hired year by year he shall be with him; he shall not rule over him with severity in your sight.

53Like a man hired year by year he shall deal with him; he shall not rule over him with harshness in your sight.

53He shall be treated like a man hired from year to year, but a foreign owner must not rule over him harshly in your sight.

53They must be treated as workers hired from year to year. You must make sure that those they must work for are kind to them when they rule over them.
