35They shall remove all the fat, just as the fat is removed from the lamb of the fellowship offering, and the priest shall burn it on the altar on top of the food offerings presented to the Lord. In this way the priest will make atonement for them for the sin they have committed, and they will be forgiven.

35He must remove all the fat from the sheep. This is the same as they do with fat from sheep which are sacrifices for friendship offerings. The priest must then burn the fat on the altar. He will burn it on top of the other offerings that people give to the Lord.
This is how the priest will make the person cleanfrom their sin. God will forgive the person when the priest does this.
35and he turns aside all its fat, as the fat of the sheep is turned aside from the sacrifice of the peace-offerings, and the priest has made them an incense on the altar, according to the fire-offerings of YHWH, and the priest has made atonement for him, for his sin which he has sinned, and it has been forgiven him.”
