Luke 1:80

80And the child grew and became strong in spirit; and he lived in the wilderness until he appeared publicly to Israel.

80Now the child grew and was becoming strong in spirit, and he lived in the deserts until the day of his public appearance to Israel.

80The child continued to grow and to become strong in spirit, and he lived in the deserts until the day of his public appearance to Israel [as John the Baptist, the forerunner of the Messiah].

80Zechariah's child grew. God made him strong in his mind. He went into the wildernessand he lived there for many years. Later, God sent him to Israel's people, to teach them.

80And the child grew, and was strengthened in spirit, and he was in the deserts until the day of his showing to Israel.
