Luke 14:5

5Then he asked them, “If one of you has a child14:5 Some manuscripts donkey or an ox that falls into a well on the Sabbath day, will you not immediately pull it out?”

5And He said to them, “14:5 Lit Whose son of you...will fallWhich one of you will have a son or an ox fall into a well, and will not immediately pull him out on a Sabbath day?”

5And He said to them, “Which one of you will have a son or an ox fall into a well, and will not immediately pull him out on a Sabbath day?”

5Then He said to them, “Which one of you, having a son or an ox that falls into a well, will not immediately pull him out on the Sabbath day?”

5And He asked them, “Which of you whose son14:5 TR donkey or ox falls into a pit on the Sabbath day will not immediately pull him out?”

5He asked them another question. He said, “Suppose one of you has a child or an ox that falls into a well on the Sabbath day. Wouldn’t you pull it out right away?”
