Luke 17:1

1Jesus said to his disciples: “Things that cause people to stumble are bound to come, but woe to anyone through whom they come.

1Now He said to His disciples, “It is inevitable that stumbling blocks come, but woe to one through whom they come!

1And he said unto his disciples, It is impossible but that occasions of stumbling should come; but woe unto him, through whom they come!

1Then said he to his disciples, It can not be auoided, but that offences will come, but wo be to him by whome they come.

1He said to the disciples, “It is impossible that no occasions of stumbling should come, but woe to him through whom they come!

1Jesus spoke to his disciples. “Things that make people sin are sure to come,” he said. “But how terrible it will be for anyone who causes those things to come!

1Jesus said to his disciples, ‘Some things in this world will cause people to do wrong things. You can be sure about that. But God will punish anyone who makes these bad things happen.

1And He said to the disciples, “It is impossible for the stumbling blocks not to come, but woe [to him] through whom they come;
