24For the Son of Man in his day17:24 Some manuscripts do not have in his day. will be like the lightning, which flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other.

24For just like the lightning, when it flashes out of one part 17:24 Lit under heaven; i.e., the lowest heaven, the skyof the sky, shines to the other part 17:24 Lit under heaven; i.e., the lowest heaven, the skyof the sky, so will the Son of Man be in His day.

24For just like the lightning, when it flashes out of one part of the sky, shines to the other part of the sky, so will the Son of Man be in His day.

24For just like the lightning, when it flashes out of one part 17:24 Lit under heaven.of the sky, gives light to the other part 17:24 Lit under heaven.of the sky, so [visible] will the Son of Man be in His day.

24For just as the lightning flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other, so will be the Son of Man in His day.

24When the Son of Man comes, he will be like the lightning. It flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other.
