Luke 19:14

14 “But his subjects hated him and sent a delegation after him to say, ‘We don’t want this man to be our king.’

14But his citizens hated him and sent a delegation after him, saying, ‘We do not want this man to reign over us.’

14But his citizens [the residents of his new kingdom] hated him and sent a delegation after him, saying, ‘We do not want this man to be a king over us.’

14But his citizens hated him, and sent an ambassage after him, saying, We will not that this man reign over us.

14Nowe his citizens hated him, and sent an ambassage after him, saying, We will not haue this man to reigne ouer vs.

14“But those he ruled over hated him. They sent some messengers after him. They were sent to say, ‘We don’t want this man to be our king.’

14But the people who lived in this man's country did not like him. So they sent some of their people to the foreign country with a message. They said, “We do not want this man to rule as king over us.”

14and his citizens were hating him, and sent a delegation after him, saying, We do not wish this one to reign over us.
